WRBC MINISTRY NETWORKS
Through the different stages of life we turn to others for advice, wisdom, and insight. WRBC invites you to contact our Ministry Networks to find a network of people to gather, discuss, encourage, pray, and offer relevant advice. Ministry Networks are continually developed through mission-minded individuals who desire to help others in a particular stage of life.
WRBC Embrace Orphan & Adopotion Ministry
Embrace is a ministry of Walnut Ridge intended to help local Christians become actively involved in the care of orphans around the world by offering support, information, and educational meetings to those interested in adopting or ministering to orphans.
Our purpose is to provide the following:
- Informational meetings for those interested in learning more about adoption
- Regular orphan ministry opportunities
- Personal and direct support for those in the adoption process
- Adoption and orphan ministry resources and materials
Children in the U.S. and around the world need and deserve families. Adoption is very rewarding and a perfect way to experience the powerful love of God. Afer all, He adopted us!
Everyday 5,760 more children become orphans
In 2004, over 3,000,000 children in U.S. did not have homes.
"... Defend the cause of the fatherless.." Isaiah 1:17

Here at The Ridge, missions is a very important part of our ministry. We support mission work both home and abroad. As part of our missions ministry, we are continually working to launch new churches and help minister to people locally, nationally, as well as internationally.
Please keep the following mission works and people in your prayers!
Allies in Youth Development has established "Planeta Diuzy", "Planet of Friends", a program designed to give orphans the tools and support network they desperately need to become healthy established indviduals. Through the mentorship of locally trained university students serving as big brothers and sisters to the orphans, this group of previousely abandoned youth will be given positive role models in their lives.
In addition to the incredible impact of mentorship, AiYD strives to attain university placement and apprentice programs for orphans interested in further education.
The purpose of International Commission (IC) is to share the redeeming love of Jesus Christ with the unbelieving world to make disciples.
- IC enlists churches to send out teams to work in evangelism and discipleship with Baptist churches worldwide.
- IC helps prepare the sending churches and hosting churches for the project.
- IC developes materials for preparation, for evangelism and for follow-up.
- IC equips believers worldwide to carry out projects within their own country
IMB's (International Mission Board's) mission is to make disciples of all peoples in fulfillment of the Great Commission found in Matthew 28:18-20.
Over 6,000 people groups - 1.7 billion people - still live with little or no access to the Gospel.
IMB is an entity of the Southern Baptist Convention, the nation's largest evangelical denomination, claiming more than 40,000 churches with nearly 16 million members.
The North American Mission Board exists to work with churches, associations and state conventions in mobilizing Southern Baptists as a missional force to impact North America with the gospel of Jesus Christ through evangelism and church planting.
We accomplish that through Send North America, our national strategy for mobilizing churches to plant churches and mobilizing church planters and other missionaries to assist with those efforts.
