Chris Burgin: Associate Pastor

Chris & Robin came to Walnut Ridge as Student Minister in January of 1997, after owning an import car repair facility in Starkville, Mississippi. Chris was an auto mechanic by trade and worked on Japanese cars for 16 years. He began to feel a call to ministry while serving as a Deacon and Youth Coordinator at Calvary Baptist Church in Starkville in 1995. Their business sold right before their move to Fort Worth in 1996.

Chris and his wife Robin are graduates of Mississippi State University and Southwestern Seminary. They support (and sustain) the children, youth, and college ministries with their four children: Kelly, Keith, Lori, and Ben. As a family they enjoy the music and drama ministries of the Ridge and working within the mission organizations.
